    Going the Distance
A look at the trials and tribulations of a long-distance relationship.
    Leaving
Forty-something Suzanne is the wife of a doctor, and the mother of two teenagers. Bored with her life, she decides to go back to work as a physiotherapist, and her husband Samuel agrees that they can fix up a consulting room for her in an annex of their house. The man in charge of the work is a Spanish labourer, Ivan, working illegally after a spell in prison. When Suzanne meets Ivan the connection is electric, and she is soon caught up in a turbulent affair. Samuel reacts badly - but his attempts to keep her are matched in their extremity by Suzanne's headlong rush to shed her former life.
    The Kids Are Alright
The Allgoods share a cosy Southern Californian home, experiencing life's typical ups and downs. The only difference is that this family has two mums. Jules and Nic have been together for years, deeply in love. When their two teenaged children decide to seek out their biological sperm donor-dad Paul, the household will never be the same again.
    Tomorrow, When the War Began
The story of eight high school friends in a remote country town whose lives are suddenly and violently upended by a war that no-one saw coming. Cut off from their families and their friends, these eight extraordinary teenagers must somehow learn to escape, survive and fight back.

    Avatar: Special Edition
The story of an ex-Marine who finds himself thrust into hostilities on an alien planet filled with exotic life forms. As an Avatar, a human mind in an alien body, he finds himself torn between two worlds, in a desperate fight for his own survival and that of the indigenous people. This version of Cameron's history-making and groundbreaking epic will include more than eight minutes of new footage.
    Boy
Taika Waititi's magical follow-up to Eagle vs Shark is a rollicking coming-of-age film that affectionately lampoons the crazes of the eighties. Boy is eleven years old, obsessed with Michael Jackson and lives on a farm with his gran, a younger brother with 'special powers,' a bunch of cousins and a pet goat. Chaos ensues when Boy is left in charge for a week and his rogue father Alamein arrives home unexpectedly after years of absence.
    Father of My Children
Gregoire Canvel has everything a man could want: a wife he loves, three delightful children and his dream job - he is a film producer. Discovering talented filmmakers and developing films that fit his conception of the cinema, free and true to life, is precisely his reason for living. But storm clouds are gathering, and Gregoire's realisation that he may have made one gamble too many will trigger a series of events that will change the lives of his family forever.
    Piranha 3D
After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the area's new razor-toothed residents.
    The Killer Inside Me
Jim Thompson's blistering pulp novel, about a cop with a bent for killing. Casey Affleck is horrifically convincing as the well-scrubbed Texan deputy sheriff whose kinky sexual fantasies come with a whole lot of historical baggage. When an unexpected affair with a prostitute gets out-of-hand, something snaps in Lou Ford and the bodies start to pile up around him.
    Vampires Suck
A comedic exploration of teenage romance and angst spoofing many of the recent 'teen' movies. Becca is torn between two boys; the mysterious, moody and ridiculously pale guy, or the stable and sweet one who reminds her of a "little gay brother". In her quest to decide between the two she must survive a family dinner without actually becoming the dinner, made even harder by a group of hungry vampires.
