    Picture gallery: Twilight's worst acting


    The first reviews of New Moon have started to trickle in, and the film's earliest critics seem divided over whether or not it's any good — though they all seem to agree that bad acting is rife

    This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who saw Twilight. Half the fun of that film comes from watching Bella (Kristen Stewart) slouch and mumble, watching her true love Edward (Robert Pattinson) pout and simper, and watching the rest of the cast pull melodramatic, overwrought faces like they're busting for the toilet.

    If you're a red-blooded Twihard you're no doubt getting ready to complain that the performances in Twilight are Academy Award-worthy. Sorry — they're not. And we've got the proof in our gallery of Twilight's top 10 most ridiculous facial expressions!

    New Moon is in cinemas from November 19.
